About
As a mom, granddaughter, and caregiver, I wanted to create something that families could share by coloring, laughing and remembering together. These books are based on love, memories, and the hope of helping little hearts understand dementia in a gentle way with illustrations and simple messages in an age appropriate way. Each page encourages conversation, creativity, and connection showing kids that even when Grandpa or Grandma forget love never fades.
Grandpa Forgets Sometimes was written in honor of my father in law, who continues to face each day with courage, grace and his unforgettable sense of humor. Even as dementia progresses his gentle smile and the sparkle in his eyes remind us that love and family are stronger than any memory lost. Caring and helping him with his journey has taught our family patience, understanding, and how to cherish every simple beautiful moment- take the time to share a laugh, a familiar song, a simple smile and hug.
Grandma Forgets Sometimes was created in memory of my grandma who strength, kindness and laughter filled every room she entered. Even as dementia and Alzheimer's slowly took her memories, her heart still remembered what matter most- love. She showed me that every moment shared with family is a gift.
May each page bring comfort, connection and joy- One coloring, one memory, and one smile at a time.
